Detoxification and Stress
Detoxification and stress. We all know just how important detoxification is for the body. But, what we don’t always realize, is just how much of impact stress has on your body’s detoxification systems.
Stress comes from an endless amount of sources. Relationships, your own health status, a loved one’s health status. Family dynamics. Your social life, (or lack of one). Your daily responsibilities. All impact the body, and its ability to detoxify.
So, what is the connection between detoxification and stress?
First, the body when under constant stress, has an increased demand to produce energy. In order to meet the demands of stress. The liver is one of the most under-appreciated organs/glands in the body. Because it is where the majority of energy production takes place.
The liver is also where the majority of the detoxification role takes place. So there is that connection as well.
Whatsmore, when the body is under stress, the body uses up and depletes its resources much quicker. When essential resources are used up during a stress response, the nutrients that are typically stored in the liver, necessary for optimal liver function are simply not available.
The result is a decreased ability to detoxify.
What’s more amazing, is the impact of not being able to detox plays on your body. From being tired more, inflamed, poor circulation, lymphatic back-up. Sex hormones and not made in adequate amounts as a consequence.
All impacting the liver due to stress.
Your body can no longer remove waste products from the entire body effectively.
We will be discussing all the impact that stress has on the liver. As well as the detoxification process itself and the impact this has on the body.
Most importantly, detoxification and stress solutions will be the focus.
